Samil PwC announced on the 20th that it has launched a dedicated Automotive team providing one-stop services for domestic and international automotive industry clients.
The dedicated team consists of 21 partners offering various services including audit, tax, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A). Previously, Samil experts have been providing specialized services for the automotive industry since 2022, and with the launch of this dedicated team, they plan to expand the scope of services to deliver closely tailored support optimized for the uncertainties and rapidly changing market environment of the automotive industry to clients both domestically and abroad.
Jeon Yong-wook, partner and audit service leader of the dedicated team, is a member of PwC Global Automotive Leadership and has represented Korea within the global network. Since last year, he has participated in the PwC Global Automotive Strategy meetings held in Munich, Germany, where he collaborates with PwC partners worldwide to forecast the future of the automotive industry and establish strategic directions for services.
PwC Global’s Automotive Group is composed of more than 8,300 automotive industry experts. It provides a variety of services including industry-specialized audits, consulting, and training. Notably, in collaboration with the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, it has established the ‘Smart Mobility Institute’ to conduct research on future mobility solution development.
