UDM Tech is experiencing a sharp decline on its first day of listing on KOSDAQ through a SPAC merger.
As of 10:02 AM on the 20th, UDM Tech was trading at 1,548 KRW, down 405 KRW (20.74%) from the previous trading day.
On this day, UDM Tech entered the KOSDAQ market through a merger with Daishin Balance No.13 SPAC. Founded in 2007, UDM Tech developed its own Machine Language Processing (MLP) technology. The company interprets the execution and data flow characteristics of unknown control logic running inside machines using an AI approach and provides various application services.
Machine language processing technology refers to interpreting low-level languages composed of commands executed by machines or equipment into a form understandable by humans. It is used in various industries to optimize complex processes and improve efficiency.
From the early stages of development, UDM Tech established a foundation for commercialization and growth through joint research and development with global manufacturing companies such as Hyundai Motor Group and LG affiliates.
Through this, advanced products have been applied and operated at 24 customers with large-scale production lines domestically and internationally. Additionally, to accelerate growth, the company is attempting to expand applications by integrating generative artificial intelligence (AI) into non-manufacturing sectors such as power plants, shipbuilding, heavy industry, and chemical fields. UDM Tech is actively promoting localization marketing in the United States targeting the US defense, manufacturing associations, and automation solution providers, not only in the automation system optimization and intelligent solution market but also beyond.
