On the 19th, Ulju-gun, Ulsan City, conducted a joint public-private inspection of youth harmful environments after the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) at Onsanso Park, with the participation of about 50 people including the Ulju-gun branch of the Youth Guidance Association.
This inspection was promoted to create a healthy environment where youth can freely relieve academic stress and spend their leisure time after the CSAT.
The inspection focused on checking whether establishments such as room cafes, comic cafes, and board game cafes prohibited youth entry and employment, and monitored compliance with youth entry prohibition hours at PC rooms and karaoke rooms.
Additionally, promotional activities were carried out to prevent violations of the Youth Protection Act in advance, including distributing leaflets to encourage regular ID checks.
An Ulju-gun official stated, “Through this inspection, we will strive to ensure that youth who have completed the CSAT can enjoy their leisure time in a safe and sound environment and be protected from social risk factors.”
