Kyungdong Navien Wins Good Design Award for 'Sukmyeon Mat Hot Water'

Providing Harmonious Design for Bedroom Environments

Kyungdong Navien announced on the 20th that it won the Bronze Prize (Korea Institute of Design Promotion Director's Award) at the design ceremony '2024 Good Design Award Korea' for the 'Navien Sleep Mat Hot Water'.

The 'Good Design Award Korea' is an award ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, which has been held since 1985. It evaluates aesthetics, originality, usability, and selects products with excellent design, granting a government certification mark.

Navien Sleep Well Mat Hot Water

Kyungdong Navien presented a design that enhances user convenience considering the characteristics of the sleep mat that provides 'pleasant sleep' based on the optimal sleep temperature. First, except for the power button, the screen turns on only when the user touches it, minimizing sleep disturbance caused by light.

Another feature is the 'custom design' reflecting harmony with the surrounding environment such as the bedroom and living room. Considering that the boiler is usually placed on the corner of the bed or on a table, a simple and tidy design was applied. By combining decorative materials that can produce various colors, satisfaction with stability and design was also increased. The mat applied design patterns mainly used in bedding and curtains to harmonize with the overall design of the bedroom.
