Pulmuone announced on the 20th the launch of its multipurpose kitchen appliance, the 'Pulmuone Kimchi Refrigerator (120ℓ)'. It is a successor model to the 'Pulmuone Kimchi Refrigerator (148ℓ)' introduced last September.
The Pulmuone Kimchi Refrigerator (120ℓ) is designed for 1-2 person households. It is equipped with the Pulmuone proprietary fermentation technology-based Gourmet Cooling System. The Pulmuone Gourmet Cooling System minimizes internal temperature variation to 0.3℃, which helps keep kimchi and ingredients fresh for a longer time. Additionally, the cooling vents are applied compartment by compartment to evenly distribute cold air regardless of the storage location.
The Pulmuone Kimchi Refrigerator offers three kimchi fermentation modes (Strong, Medium, Weak) to store kimchi at the desired ripeness. It also provides five customized storage modes (Freezing, Refrigeration, Rice & Grains, Soju & Beer, Slushy Soju), making it usable as a sub-refrigerator for basic cooking ingredients and alcoholic beverages.
The exterior features a hidden display for a simple and luxurious look. It is available in two models, 'Matte White' and 'Metal Gray', depending on the door material, expanding consumer choices. This product is currently sold on the official Pulmuone Appliances Naver Smart Store, and from the 25th, it will also be available on Pulmuone’s official mall #Pulmuone, Gmarket, Auction, and other online shopping malls.
Kang Jae-hoon, head of Pulmuone Living Care Division, said, "We have introduced a successor model of the 'Pulmuone Kimchi Refrigerator' that incorporates Pulmuone’s kimchi know-how to store kimchi and ingredients more deliciously."
