The Korean National Police University announced on the 20th that it held an international academic conference on the theme of ‘Measures to Eradicate the Organized Crime Ecosystem.’
At this event, seven public safety experts from four countries? the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Taiwan?were invited. They analyzed the security environment regarding organized and sophisticated fraud, drug, and cryptocurrency crimes and discussed new directions for public safety.
The Korean National Police University International Academic Conference is a forum that invites domestic and international public safety experts to understand research trends and foster international cooperation.
Oh Moon-gyo, President of the Korean National Police University, emphasized, “This academic conference was organized to actively respond to organized crimes such as fraud, drugs, and cryptocurrency offenses, which have been rapidly spreading recently and threaten public safety and create social anxiety, by inviting domestic and international experts to share knowledge and experience.”
