LifeSemantics Expands Global Aerospace Business Through Subsidiary

Digital AI healthcare specialist LifeSemantics (CEO Kwangsoo Choi) announced on the 19th that it is accelerating its aerospace business through its 100% owned subsidiary.

LifeSemantics renamed its data-driven sales and marketing subsidiary LifeBridge last September and added business objectives such as the development and manufacturing of special alloy materials required for spacecraft, satellites, and aircraft parts.

Sphere Korea, the largest shareholder of LifeSemantics, was registered last year as a key vendor company for a U.S. global aerospace firm. It is currently building a supply chain of about 10 sub-vendors in Korea and Asia. Additionally, it is expanding cooperation with leading domestic companies to establish an Asian hub supply chain network for the global aerospace company. Sphere Korea is a global company in the special alloy field for space launch vehicles, showing rapid growth with sales of approximately 12.1 billion KRW last year and about 65 billion KRW up to the third quarter of this year.

Currently, LifeSemantics is collaborating with the U.S. global aerospace company to promote the 'Space Distribution Center' business. They plan to establish a stable supply chain for various special alloy raw materials and materials for space launch vehicles and prepare an optimized logistics system to enable prompt delivery at the time customers need. In particular, to provide customized products, they will newly introduce customizing equipment and high-quality ultrasonic testing facilities.

With this entry into the aerospace business, LifeSemantics aims to leap forward as a global company encompassing digital healthcare and the aerospace special alloy material industry.

A company representative stated, “The aerospace industry is an essential strategy for business diversification as well as sustainable growth of the existing digital healthcare business,” adding, “We will expand our influence in the global market by cooperating with domestic and international special alloy material companies with global competitiveness.”
