NH-Amundi Asset Management, HANARO Generative AI Active ETF Achieves 80% Return After Listing

NH-Amundi Asset Management announced on the 19th that the 'HANARO Global Generative AI Active ETF' has surpassed an 80% return since its listing.


According to Shinhan Fund Partners, as of the 12th, the HANARO Global Generative AI Active ETF recorded a return of 86.8% since its listing.


With large-scale facility investments in data centers centered around U.S. big tech companies continuing, AI-related semiconductor sectors have attracted attention and recorded superior returns compared to the market.


Software companies realizing profits using their own AI technology and infrastructure companies benefiting from increased power demand are leading the rise in the AI-related market.


The HANARO Global Generative AI Active ETF is the only product in Korea that invests in a concentrated manner in about 30 U.S.-listed companies that have secured core technologies related to generative AI.


Representative holdings include Palantir Technologies, AppLovin, and GE Vernova. In particular, Palantir Technologies announced its highest-ever net profit in the third quarter, causing its stock price to surge more than 200% this year.


Kim Hyun-bin, Head of ETF Investment at NH-Amundi Asset Management, explained, "The HANARO Global Generative AI Active ETF focuses on investing intensively in stocks that benefit from advances in AI technology and changes in the macro environment."
