Samil PwC Governance Center, New Online Course for Auditors and Audit Committee Members

On the 19th, Samil PwC Governance Center announced the launch of a new online course program for auditors and audit committee members.

Since the 2018 accounting reform, the role of internal audit organizations has been continuously strengthened, increasing the importance of auditors and audit committee members who oversee corporate financial reporting and risk management. As demand for related education grows, the Governance Center provides advanced training courses every year on new topics tailored to the latest corporate environment.

The newly launched online lectures address practical issues that auditors and audit committee members may face, covering five topics: ▲ Financial Supervisory Service’s key review accounting issues in financial statements ▲ ESG disclosure and regulatory trends and latest developments ▲ Global business and global risks ▲ Communication between external auditors and audit committees ▲ Quality control of internal audits by audit committees.
