Redevelopment and Reconstruction Maintenance Project Education
Open to All Goyang Citizens
Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 19th that it will hold the "Goyang Special City Maintenance Project Citizen Lecture" from December 14 to 21.
This lecture is designed to promote citizens' understanding through basic education on urban reconstruction and redevelopment, such as the 'Old Plan Urban Maintenance Act' and the 'Urban Maintenance Act,' and to support the smooth and successful promotion of maintenance projects.
Goyang City plans to provide education tailored to the level of citizens who are at the starting point of maintenance projects, rather than complicated explanations of rapidly changing laws and systems. The lectures will be divided into topics such as △small-scale housing maintenance projects △general reconstruction and redevelopment-related maintenance projects, and will be held a total of three times.
Among these sessions, the first lecture related to the 'small-scale housing maintenance project' will be conducted exclusively for related union members (executives), while education on general maintenance projects such as reconstruction and redevelopment will be free for all Goyang citizens.
Applications are accepted in advance from the 18th until December 13. Each session will be closed on a first-come, first-served basis for about 100 people. Applications for the 'small-scale housing maintenance project' will be accepted by phone, while applications for other lectures can be submitted by scanning the QR code on the lecture posters posted on the city website and placards, then filling out and submitting the application form.
Application results will be individually notified before the lecture is held, and for other inquiries, contact the Goyang City New Town Maintenance Division.
