Samjong KPMG, Free Training for ESG Data Expert Development

Samjong KPMG announced on the 19th that it will nurture specialized talent in the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data field as part of the K-Digital Training (KDT) Leading Company Academy project.

K-Digital Training is a vocational training project led by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea University of Technology and Education’s Vocational Competency Evaluation Institute, aiming to cultivate talent related to the growth of the domestic and international digital tech-based consulting market.

Samjong KPMG conducted data expert training through the K-Digital Training Leading Company Academy curriculum, ‘Future Academy,’ in July and October. This training program will be offered as the ‘ESG Data Utilization Full-Stack Developer Course’ and the ‘ESG Data-Based Financial Impact Automation Developer Course.’

Samjong KPMG provides practical, hands-on education based on its strengths in ESG expertise, industry-specific specialized solutions, and ESG data platforms. In particular, it plans to focus on nurturing ESG data experts needed in the actual industrial field by incorporating ESG management strategy consulting and information disclosure advisory service experience into the curriculum.

This training program is conducted in collaboration with AI Academy, a leading IT vocational training institution driving the 4th Industrial Revolution, combining AI Academy’s IT education know-how to help cultivate practical field-oriented talent.

Meanwhile, those who have not taken any K-Digital Training courses within the last five years are eligible to apply, and applications can be submitted through the Samjong KPMG website and the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s vocational training portal HRD-Net. Outstanding graduates will also be offered internship opportunities at Samjong KPMG.

A representative from Samjong KPMG stated, “The demand for data specialists is increasing in the rapidly growing ESG market,” adding, “We hope that through this training program, participants will grow into core talents of the future industry encompassing both ESG and IT.”
