The Changwon Maritime Police Station in Gyeongnam announced that it spent a day for local residents living in island villages and fishing communities lacking transportation and basic living facilities.
On the 13th, Changwon Maritime Police provided medical and beauty services, consolation performances, legal consultations, building repairs, longevity photo shoots, and free distribution of goods at the Wonjeon Welfare Center in Gusan-myeon, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon City.

Medical staff from Changwon Gyeongsang National University Hospital, Kim Eye Clinic, and the Gyeongnam Red Cross, who participated in the sharing activities that day, offered simple check-ups and psychological counseling as medical services for local seniors.
Volunteers showcased their beauty skills by grooming the elderly’s hair and performed consolation shows including janggu drum performances.

The Changwon Maritime Police Policy Advisory Committee, Muhak Co., Ltd., and Asterix Marina donated daily necessities, while Gukdo General Construction demonstrated their repair skills by directly fixing the homes of elderly residents with mobility difficulties.
Changwon Maritime Police officers provided customized legal consultations to village residents, explaining enforcement cases and the latest legal amendments to help them understand legal knowledge they had been curious about.
Wishing for the healthy and peaceful daily lives of the village elders, they also took longevity photos and presented them framed as gifts.
