Pocheon City Provides Firefighting Job Experience and CPR Training for Children under Protection

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 18th that on the 15th, it conducted a fire service job experience and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training for children under protection at a child care facility in Pocheon.

This training, conducted in cooperation with the Pocheon Fire Station, was organized to support children under protection in exploring careers, planning their futures, and preparing for independence.


The training consisted of experiential education led directly by the education officer of Pocheon Fire Station, including fire service job experience, CPR training and practice, quizzes, Q&A sessions, and sharing impressions at the child care facility.


One child who participated in the training said, “Through this training, I was able to take a closer look at the role and job of firefighters. It was a great help in choosing my career path.”


Lee Il-seon, Head of the Family and Women’s Division, said, “I hope this training helped children under protection in planning their careers and preparing for independence. Pocheon City will continue to provide various educational programs to support the stable independence of children under protection.”
