Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, is conducting a "Low Birthrate Overcoming and Population Decline Response Policy Establishment Resident Survey" targeting Cheongsong residents until November 19 to understand residents' awareness and policy demands regarding low birthrate and population decline.
The survey consists of a total of 21 items, including perceptions of marriage, childbirth, child-rearing, and aging issues, residential conditions, resident welfare improvement, population increase, and opinions on projects responding to the risk of local extinction. Participation is possible through an online platform (using a QR code) and survey forms available at the eup and myeon offices.
Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, "Through this survey, we plan to establish customized policies to overcome low birthrate and respond to population decline based on residents' needs, and actively promote them starting next year." She added, "We hope for the active interest and participation of residents in creating a future for Cheongsong-gun where everyone can live well and wants to live."
