Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 18th that it will hold a drawing contest themed "The Future City Where Children Want to Live."
The "9th Hyundai Kids Motorshow" is open to children aged 4 to 13, with submissions accepted from today until the 29th of next month.
This event began in 2016 under the concept of the "Children's Imagination Motorshow" and is now in its 9th year. Hyundai has selected the theme for this contest as "What kind of city would you like to live in the future? Feel free to draw your imagined future city."
The contest aims to help participating children naturally understand various technologies such as Smart City, Future Mobility, and Robotics, and to imagine a life integrated with future technologies.
Works submitted to the Hyundai Kids Motorshow will be reviewed by experts in art, engineering, and urban planning, selecting 300 finalists. Additional evaluation of imagination and completeness in both drawings and stories will determine the final six winners in the top category (3 awards from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, and 3 awards from the Hyundai Motor Company CEO).
Jiseongwon, Head of Hyundai Motor Brand Marketing Division, said, "We will actively support introducing the imagination and creative ideas of the younger generation that adults have not yet considered, and help children grow into future leaders."
