[Tomorrow's Weather] Temperature Drops Sharply Due to Cold Wind... Rain Forecast in Some Areas

Monday Seoul temperature drops to minus 1 degree

On Sunday the 17th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy with showers in some areas. It will gradually clear up from the afternoon.

The Yeongdong region of Gangwon Province and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk Province will be mostly cloudy, and Jeju Island may have occasional rain until the morning.

There will be occasional rain on the eastern coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province from the morning, and on the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk Province from the afternoon. Most of the rain will stop by early the next day. Snow or rain is expected in the mountainous areas of Gangwon Province from the afternoon.

The expected precipitation over the two days from the 17th to the 18th is 10 to 40 mm for the eastern coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, 5 to 20 mm for the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk Province, and around 5 mm for Ulleungdo and Dokdo. During the same period, 1 to 5 cm of snow is forecasted for the mountainous areas of Gangwon Province.

The morning low temperatures will range from 4 to 15 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs will be around 10 to 17 degrees Celsius. Compared to the 16th, daytime temperatures will drop by about 5 to 10 degrees Celsius in most parts of the country, and strong winds will make the wind chill even colder.
