From the 14th to the 15th, Jeollanam-do held an investment attraction fam tour by inviting companies in real estate development, renewable energy, and smart farms to Solar City, a tourism and leisure-type enterprise city in Yeongam and Haenam.
Solar City is one of the top 10 Grand Jeonnam projects prioritized by Jeonnam Province. By 2030, Jeonnam plans to intensively develop it as a future-oriented advanced eco-city where nature, people, and cutting-edge information and communication technology (IT) coexist, a leading eco-friendly energy city, and a tourism and leisure hub in the southwestern coast.
The fam tour proceeded with briefings on project plans by district, on-site inspections, and cultural experiences linked to tourism resources around the enterprise city. By district, ▲Guseong District included visits to the Solar City Promotion Center, Solar City Country Club, and Sani Garden ▲Samho District included South Links Yeongam, Cosmos Links, and the planned site of Fairway Village ▲the enterprise city entrance road and Solar City Bridge ▲Sampo District included visits to the F1 Promotion Center and cultural experiences such as the international automobile race circuit.
A company official who participated in the fam tour said, “Through this investment attraction fam tour, we confirmed the changed appearance and development potential of Solar City Enterprise City,” adding, “By visiting the site directly, we experienced the excellent investment environment of Solar City and shared useful information with various businesspeople considering investment.”
Seo Soon-cheol, the Jeonnam Province Enterprise City Officer, said, “We will continue to accelerate investment attraction through active mutual exchanges with companies related to specialized industries in each district to promote the early activation of Solar City Enterprise City.”
