Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 15th that it held the 20th graduation ceremony for Pocheon City Environmental Agriculture College and the 7th graduation ceremony for its graduate school on the 14th.

The graduation ceremony was organized to commend the efforts of graduates who completed various courses and to celebrate their achievements.
At the ceremony, 67 students who completed the Rural Convergence Industry Department, Horticulture and Special Crops Department, and the graduate course in Agricultural Business Specialist Program received their diplomas. From March to November, the graduates deeply studied agricultural management, cultivation science, smart agriculture, and rural convergence cases, acquiring specialized knowledge combining theory and practice.
In particular, graduates of the Agricultural Business Specialist Program held a brand presentation event where they developed and introduced their own farm brands, showcasing 18 farm brands. The graduates shared their agricultural visions and brand values, demonstrating creative capabilities, and visually exhibited their learning outcomes through a graduation project exhibition.
Additionally, awards were presented to top academic performers and special contributors during the graduation ceremony. Graduates, their families, and related personnel gathered to celebrate the graduation.
Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon said, “We hope that the graduates of Pocheon City Environmental Agriculture College will grow into key talents in local agriculture. Pocheon City will continue to strengthen agricultural education to respond to the changing agricultural environment and will spare no support for agriculture.”
Meanwhile, since its establishment in 2005, Pocheon City Environmental Agriculture College has been operating various educational programs under the motto “Inquisitive Intelligence, Creative Effort, and Leap-forward Agriculture” to enhance the competitiveness of farmers and realize sustainable agriculture.
