Boryeong City, Chungnam Province, announced on the 15th that it will hold a slogan contest to mark the 30th anniversary of the integration of Boryeong-gun and Daecheon-si next year.
Any citizen can participate, and the slogan should be concise, clear, and encapsulate the theme in 20 characters or less. Each person may submit only one entry.
Applicants can submit their entries in person, by mail, or by email. Detailed information can be found in the city’s official website notices and announcements.
The city plans to announce the winners in December. The grand prize winner will receive 300,000 KRW, and two runners-up will each receive a Boryeong Love gift certificate worth 100,000 KRW.
The selected slogan will be used for one year in events and souvenirs commemorating the 30th anniversary of the integration.
Mayor Kim Dongil said, “We decided to hold the slogan contest to create a pre-event boom for the 30th anniversary of the integration and to celebrate together with the citizens. I hope many citizens will participate and show their interest so that we can select a slogan that symbolically represents the vitality of Boryeong’s growth and reflects on the efforts of integration over the past 30 years.”
