Guro-gu to Hold 2025 College Admission Information Session

Guro-gu will hold a 2025 College Admission Regular Decision Information Session to support students and parents who are having difficulties preparing for regular decision applications.

In the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), the number of repeat test-takers is expected to be the highest ever due to the increase in medical school admission quotas, making it necessary to prepare for new types of questions designed to ensure differentiation.

The regular decision information session will be held on December 16th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the district office auditorium.

The session will be led by Nam Yoon-gon, director of the Admissions Strategy Research Institute at Megastudy Education, who will lecture on CSAT scoring results, analysis of CSAT outcomes, key issues in regular decision applications, and essential elements of application strategies.

The district will recruit up to 150 students and parents on a first-come, first-served basis until December 13th.

Those wishing to participate can apply through the Guro Learning Support Center website.

A Guro-gu official said, “We hope the regular decision information session will be very helpful in establishing an admission strategy that suits each individual,” and added, “Guro-gu will work together to ensure successful college admissions.”

Additionally, from December 16th to 30th, the district will operate an intensive college counseling period for regular decision preparation. Current and former career and college counseling specialists will provide individual counseling on regular decision application strategies based on CSAT score reports and school records.

Applications for the intensive college counseling for regular decision preparation can be made through the Guro Learning Support Center website starting at 10:00 AM on the 2nd of next month.
