Daegu Catholic University Receives Presidential Citation at the 'Small and Medium Business Technology and Management Innovation Exhibition'

Contributing to Technological Innovation and Mutual Growth through Collaboration with Small and Medium Enterprises

Daegu Catholic University received the Presidential Citation in the Technology Cooperation Organization category at the '2024 Small and Medium Business Technology and Management Innovation Expo' held at the Ulsan Exhibition and Convention Center on the 14th.

This citation was awarded to President Seong Han-gi by Minister Oh Young-joo of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, recognizing Daegu Catholic University’s contribution to technological innovation and mutual growth through cooperation with local small and medium enterprises.

Daegu Catholic University has been highly praised for successfully carrying out various industry-academia cooperation projects that respond to the technological demands of the industrial field with the goal of strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises, and for the close collaboration between researchers and local SMEs to jointly develop practically applicable technologies.

President Seong Han-gi stated, “Daegu Catholic University has been dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of local industries and SMEs through innovative research and practice-oriented education,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to nurture talent that grows together with the local community and contributes to the national economy.”

Since establishing the Industry-Academia Consortium Center in 2000, Daegu Catholic University has been operating an independent SME Industry-Academia Cooperation Center, contributing to the revitalization of industry-academia cooperation.
