October Solo Album 'The New Sound' Release

On the 14th, concert planning company MPMG announced that Geordie Greep will perform in Korea on February 20th next year as part of his solo Asia tour.
Geordie Greep, the frontman of the British band 'Black Midi,' which has announced a temporary hiatus, released his solo debut album 'The New Sound' in October this year.
'The New Sound' attracted attention as it was produced with over 30 session musicians in S?o Paulo, Brazil, and London. This album combines various musical elements such as blues, jazz, punk, and Brazilian music, and is being cited as one of the best albums of the year on music rating platforms including Rate Your Music.
Having previously connected with domestic fans through two prior concerts in Korea as 'Black Midi,' Geordie Greep is expected to deliver an enthusiastic performance focusing mainly on songs from 'The New Sound.'
At his first concert in Korea, Geordie Greep showed special affection by appearing with a hammer to the main theme music of the Korean film 'Oldboy.' He is anticipated to showcase explosive musicianship and unique performances at this upcoming concert as well.
The album release tour for 'The New Sound' includes schedules in the United States, Europe, Japan, and Korea. The U.S. performances will feature a session band formed with local musicians, the European shows will be with the band he works with in London, and the Asia dates will be performed with a session band assembled in Japan.
Geordie Greep's solo debut concert in Korea will be held at 8 PM on February 20, 2025, at Rolling Hall in Seogyo-dong, Seoul.
Tickets will be available for reservation through Interpark Ticket starting at 12 PM on the 21st.
