Dunamu, the operator of the virtual asset exchange Upbit, announced on the 14th that its operating profit for the third quarter of this year was 83.9 billion KRW.
This represents a 47.2% decrease compared to the operating profit of 159 billion KRW in the second quarter.
Consolidated revenue (operating income) for the third quarter was 189.3 billion KRW, down 26.3% from 257 billion KRW in the previous quarter.
Net profit for the third quarter was 58.6 billion KRW, a 55.3% decrease from 131.1 billion KRW in the previous quarter.
Dunamu explained, "The contraction of the virtual asset market due to the reduction of global liquidity led to a decrease in revenue and operating profit."
