Viva Republica, the operator of the mobile financial service Toss, announced on the 14th that its consolidated operating revenue (sales concept) for the third quarter of this year reached 502.1 billion KRW. This represents a 47.5% growth compared to the same period last year, marking the highest quarterly performance.
During the same period, consolidated operating profit and net income recorded 10.9 billion KRW and 3.9 billion KRW respectively, successfully turning profitable on a quarterly basis.
This strong performance is attributed to balanced growth across services such as advertising, simple payment (Pay), and loan brokerage, according to Toss. In particular, the rapid growth of the advertising service, based on 19.1 million monthly active users (MAU), played a key role. The affiliate company Toss Securities also led performance improvement by gaining popularity in the overseas stock brokerage sector.
Lee Seung-geon, CEO of Toss, stated, "We achieved the highest quarterly sales due to balanced growth of Toss services and strong performance of affiliates and related companies, and also recorded operating profit and net income in the black for the quarter. We will strive to continue healthy growth of the platform’s core business by securing profitability."
