Signing of Joint Development Agreement on Disaster Compensation System between Government Employees Pension Service and Private School Teachers Pension Service

The Government Employees Pension Service signed a business agreement on the 14th with the Private School Teachers' Pension Service for the joint development of the disaster compensation system for government employees and private school teachers.

Through this agreement, both organizations agreed to mutually cooperate on ▲policy research related to the rationalization of the disaster compensation system ▲information sharing to promote disaster prevention support ▲sharing know-how related to disaster review and compensation ▲development of new rehabilitation services.

Kim Dong-geuk, Director of the Government Employees Pension Service, who attended the signing ceremony, said, "Through this business agreement with the Private School Teachers' Pension Service, a close cooperative system between the two organizations will be established for the development of the disaster compensation system for government employees and private school teachers," adding, "We hope that a sustainable disaster compensation system can be operated through active exchanges and mutual cooperation between the institutions in the future."

This business agreement is the second inter-agency agreement for the joint development of the disaster compensation system following last year's agreement with the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service. The Government Employees Pension Service plans to lay the foundation for activating multilateral exchanges for the rational operation of disaster compensation systems for government employees, private school teachers, and private sector workers, and actively promote various support projects as an institution providing comprehensive disaster services for government employees.
