AGLF signed a business agreement with the Korea SNAG Golf Association and Vice &. Park Paul, Secretary General of AGLF, Kim Hyung-dal, Chairman, and In Seung-chul, Executive Director, agreed to join forces in a golf education promotion campaign targeting undeveloped golf countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
The three organizations decided to distribute golf education content and introduce an education platform in the region. They focused on providing golf education intensively in countries where golf is relatively underdeveloped, ultimately aiming to nurture players.
SNAG Golf stands for "Starting New At Golf." It is a golf education program officially adopted by professional golf associations in various countries. It is played like golf using two colorful golf clubs designed for children. The balls used are slightly smaller than tennis balls and have a fuzzy surface material. They stick well to targets called flagstick keys.
AGLF, established to promote women's golf development in the Asia-Pacific region, has held LAT series events featuring top-level players, such as the Hana Financial Group Singapore Open, DB Group Korea Women's Open, and Hana Financial Group Championship. Early next year, the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Tour (KLPGT) and the Asia Pacific Circuit (APAC Circuit) series will be held in Indonesia and the Philippines.
