Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation Donates 10 Million Won to 'Disabled Orchestra' Founded in December

On the 14th, the Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation donated 10 million won in sponsorship to the ‘Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra,’ which will be established in December.

The Gyeonggi-do Disabled Orchestra is the nation’s first ‘talent nurturing’ orchestra, focusing on showcasing the artistic abilities and fostering the talents of people with disabilities, and is scheduled to be founded in December.

Through this sponsorship, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation hopes that disabled artists will grow in better environments and that social awareness of disabled art will increase.

Si Seok-jung, Chairman of Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation, said, "It is very meaningful that we can support the growth of disabled artists with donations voluntarily collected by our employees," and added, "Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation will continue various social responsibility activities for vulnerable groups and local communities in the province."

As the only policy financial institution supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners in Gyeonggi-do, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation has fulfilled its original role while pursuing sustainable development through various social contribution activities for the local community. As a result of these efforts, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation has been honored to be selected as a ‘Local Social Contribution Recognized Institution’ by the Ministry of Health and Welfare for four consecutive years this year.
