S-OIL Donates 20 Million KRW in Scholarships to Pureun Scholarship Foundation

On the 14th, Ulsan District Prosecutors' Office Held Scholarship Award Ceremony

On the 14th, S-OIL Ulsan Plant delivered a scholarship fund of 20 million KRW to the Pureun Scholarship Foundation at the Ulsan District Prosecutors' Office.

The delivery ceremony was attended by Lee Young-hwa, Chief of the Criminal Division 1 at the Ulsan District Prosecutors' Office, Lee Yoon-chul, Chairman of the Pureun Scholarship Foundation, Park Sung-hoon, Executive Director of S-OIL, and foundation officials. The scholarship fund delivered on this day is intended to be used for youths in the Ulsan area who require economic support.

Park Sung-hoon, Executive Director of S-OIL, stated, “S-OIL is striving to grow together with the Ulsan community where our business site is located, based on the core value of sharing. We will continue to support underprivileged youths in the Ulsan area so that they can overcome difficulties and live properly in a healthy educational environment.”

Lee Yoon-chul, Chairman of the Pureun Scholarship Foundation, expressed gratitude, saying, “Thanks to S-OIL’s consistent interest and care for youths, local young people can have dreams and live rightly.”

The ‘Pureun Scholarship Foundation’ is a scholarship foundation operated by the Ulsan Regional Association of the Legal Love under the Ministry of Justice. Established in 2007, it conducts scholarship projects for underprivileged groups, multicultural families, and disadvantaged youths. Since 2017, S-OIL has been sponsoring the Pureun Scholarship Foundation with an annual scholarship fund of 20 million KRW.
