LINC3.0 On-site Training Participants Kim In-ae and Kim Ga-hee Students
National Pukyong University announced on the 14th that Kim In-ae (4th year, Marine Sports major) and Kim Ga-hee (4th year, Nano Convergence major) received the Grand Prize and Encouragement Award, respectively, at the 2024 Industry-Academia-Research Linked Curriculum Video Content Contest hosted by the National Research Foundation of Korea.
They were awarded for their outstanding achievements at the award ceremony held alongside the ‘2024 Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation EXPO’ at BEXCO, Busan, from November 6 to 8.
This contest invites video content submissions from students who have completed industry-academia-research linked curricula such as field training at 76 universities nationwide, including National Pukyong University, participating in the LINC 3.0 project.
Under the theme of ‘Experiences of Participation (Completion) and Achievements in Industry-Academia-Research Linked Curricula,’ Kim In-ae received the Grand Prize, the Minister of Education Award, with a prize of 2 million KRW for a field training video at the Pukyong Sports Club of the National Pukyong University Sports Promotion Center.
She emphasized that she gained a wide range of experiences related to her major by participating in exercise prescription and facility management at a comprehensive sports facility, and that receiving advice from professionals active in the field greatly broadened her perspective, earning high praise.
Meanwhile, Kim Ga-hee received the Encouragement Award, the LINC 3.0 Project Group Chairman Award, with a prize of 300,000 KRW for a video produced based on her field training experience at BEXCO.
National Pukyong University was selected in 2022 for the 3rd phase of the Ministry of Education and National Research Foundation’s Leading University Project for Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation (LINC 3.0), and is committed to nurturing future talents in new industries and technologies and establishing an innovative ecosystem for industry-academia-research cooperation.
