The high schools that signed the agreement are ▲ Regina Coeli College ▲ Americana Chinese International School ▲ Unity Concord International School ▲ British Concordance International School ▲ Chiangrai International School.

Mokwon University plans to build a strategic partnership with these high schools to promote exchanges of students, faculty, language, and culture, while strengthening mutual cooperation.

Previously, the Chiang Mai Education Office directly requested Mokwon University to establish such a cooperative relationship, leading to the actual signing of the agreement.

The Chiang Mai Education Office also plans to select students from the five high schools (two students per school, totaling 10 students) to participate in the ‘3rd Korean Language Camp’ conducted by Mokwon University locally from January 17 to 19 next year.

Since last year, Mokwon University has been selecting around 70 students from prestigious Thai high schools and conducting a Korean language camp over a 2-night, 3-day schedule locally to spread the Korean language and culture.

Lee Hee-hak, president of Mokwon University, said, “We expect that this agreement will further activate educational and cultural exchanges between the two countries.”
