Ubivelox announced that its cumulative sales for the third quarter on a consolidated basis reached 442.4 billion KRW, a 15% increase compared to the same period last year, with an operating profit of 29.2 billion KRW. The third-quarter results recorded sales of 161.5 billion KRW and an operating profit of 11.5 billion KRW, consistently maintaining quarterly operating profits in the 10 billion KRW range.
Kang Jung-kyu, Executive Director in charge of the Management Strategy Headquarters, explained, “The high demand for the new Roborock products launched in the first half of this year and strong sales through offline channels such as department stores are driving this year’s performance growth. Sales have already grown 75% compared to last year, and we are continuously increasing market share through mass media and new media marketing. Additionally, overseas sales of black boxes have grown significantly compared to the first half, and the black box business division has recorded a profit, so we expect to show even better results.”
He also stated, “Since we have established a mass production system for high value-added cards this year, we expect to supply high value-added products such as metal and BLE cards in earnest from next year. We are confident that robot vacuum cleaner sales will continue to grow steadily, driven by increased overseas demand for black boxes and various events such as Big Smile Day and Grand Single Day.”
Meanwhile, Ubivelox is recently expanding its business areas into various industries such as defense, automotive, and home appliances, where security and authentication are applied based on IC chips, and is preparing for a technology-special listing of its map platform affiliate, iNavi Systems. Additionally, during the recent Big Smile Day and Grand Single Day events, the company’s robot vacuum cleaner (Roborock) achieved first place in total product sales, setting a new sales record.
