Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) announced on the 14th that it listened to residents' opinions to resolve local complaints during the 13th Mobile Mayor's Office held on the 13th in Sinjang-dong, the original downtown area.

The Mobile Mayor's Office is an on-site communication channel where Mayor Lee Hyun-jae meets directly with citizens from different districts to jointly consider local issues and find solutions on the spot. Under the 8th elected administration, Hanam City is emphasizing "citizen-centered, field-centered administrative services" and is promoting the Mobile Mayor's Office as a key policy.

Through the Mobile Mayor's Office held at the GS Mart parking lot in Sinjang-dong that day, Mayor Lee Hyun-jae freely discussed local issues with about 20 citizens.

On that day, Mayor Lee promised to strictly manage violations and conduct periodic unannounced inspections after confirming the site under the supervision of the relevant department in response to a complaint that "it is difficult to sleep due to the noise from delivery motorcycles."

Additionally, regarding a complainant who raised issues about illegal activities and housing demolition by the Yeokmal 2 District (Bellice) cooperative and expressed opposition to the re-designation of the district unit plan announcement, requesting the cancellation of the cooperative establishment approval, Mayor Lee said he would hold an explanatory meeting soon to guide residents on the housing cooperative progress procedures. He also responded that demolition-related issues would be supervised through the relevant department.

Mayor Lee Hyun-jae also stated his intention to actively work on resolving a total of 12 complaints, including △ smoking enforcement on Misa Culture Street △ installation of security CCTV in the alley in front of Dongbu Elementary School △ resolving apartment inter-floor noise issues △ adjusting the dispatch interval of bus number 02.

Mayor Lee emphasized, "We will do our utmost to enhance administrative trust through on-site communication with residents."
