This safety inspection was organized to prevent large-scale casualties such as fires in large stores frequently used by people during the winter season.
About 30 participants, including Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City, officials from the City Hall Safety and Construction Department, Yangju Fire Station personnel, and Yangju Volunteer Fire Brigade members, joined forces to enhance safety management during the campaign.
The participants distributed promotional materials to citizens visiting the mart, informing them about winter fire prevention safety rules and response guidelines for multi-family housing and multi-use facilities, striving to raise safety awareness.
They also provided guidance on how to use the Safety Report Center, where residents can report hazardous elements in their surroundings, and promoted Yangju City's Life Safety Insurance.
Mayor Kang Su-hyun handed out the promotional materials to citizens and said, "It is important to be familiar with and practice safety rules regularly," adding, "We will do our best to ensure the safety of all citizens and prevent accidents."
