This training was conducted with the recognition that, in order for Yeongyang-gun to develop into an ecological tourist destination utilizing attractions such as the birch forest, which boasts the largest scale nationwide, and the Posan-ri Janggu Megi Wetland, a national wetland protection area designated by the Ministry of Environment, friendly customer service at dining establishments for visitors is of utmost importance along with sightseeing. Therefore, the training focused on teaching friendly service techniques to provide customer satisfaction.
The training was held in the form of a concert rather than a lecture, and included role-playing involving the operators on how to warmly welcome customers and provide courteous service, making the training more effective in promoting friendly service practices among the operators.
An operator who attended the training, Mr. ‘k’, said, “Receiving the training in a concert format was more engaging, and I believe I will be able to offer more detailed and friendly service to customers visiting my establishment in the future.”
Governor Oh Do-chang emphasized, “For local dining establishments to develop and gain competitiveness, it is crucial to practice ‘Kkae·Kkal·Chin’?maintaining a clean business environment, providing neat and substantial menus, and delivering friendly service. I hope these practices will be actively implemented to increase customer satisfaction and further revitalize local dining businesses.”
