Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 14th that it will recruit 135 participants for the '2025 Disabled Persons Job Project' targeting unemployed registered disabled persons aged 18 or older who have their resident registration in Uijeongbu City.
First, for the General Disabled Persons Job type (60 people), the announcement will be posted on the city hall website on the 15th, and applications will be accepted from the 20th to the 26th at the Uijeongbu City Job Comprehensive Support Center (1st floor of the Labor Welfare Hall).
For the Disabled Welfare Job type (75 people), recruitment will be conducted by the private consignment institutions, Uijeongbu Disabled Persons Comprehensive Welfare Center and the Uijeongbu City Branch of the Gyeonggi Province Association of the Physically Disabled, with applications accepted from the 9th to the 11th of next month.
Participants who are finally selected through document and interview screening will work for one year in 2025 at public institutions, disabled welfare facilities, non-profit private organizations, etc., performing tasks such as administrative office assistance, librarian assistance, mail sorting, disabled parking zone guidance staff, facility program assistance, and environmental helper.
