Uijeongbu City Conducts 'Women's Organization Capacity Building Program with Uijeongbu Forest'

Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 14th that on the 12th, it conducted the "Women's Organization Capacity Building Program with Uijeongbu Forest" for about 10 members of the Women's Association at Jasil Forest Bathing Center.

This program provided a time for recharging for members who were physically and mentally exhausted from various volunteer activities through the nature-friendly tourism service "Uijeongbu Forest: Four-Color Healing Journey in the Forest."

Participants experienced forest interpretation, walking in the forest bathing center, forest meditation yoga, and aroma therapy, taking rest in nature and strengthening communication among women’s organization leaders.

Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, “I thank the members of the women’s organizations who play an important role in creating a women-friendly city in Uijeongbu. I hope this program with nature was a good opportunity to change their lives.”
