On the 13th, Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 14th that it signed a shared and collaborative business agreement with Osan University at City Hall to promote regional development and strengthen cooperation between local government, industry, and academia.

The city explained that this agreement is part of Osan University's ongoing 'Leading Specialized College for Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Project' and the 'Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System,' aiming to utilize the university's human and technological infrastructure and enhance the city brand through activities that strengthen regional solidarity.
Following this agreement, the city and the university plan to continue cooperation to establish a sustainable collaborative system and jointly promote programs that create the city brand.
Lee Kwon-jae, Mayor of Osan City, stated, "The two institutions will cooperate to establish a practical and effective cooperation system for regional development to maximize the effects."
