Busan Office of Education Initiates On-site Expansion of Kindergarten Class Innovation Cases

Award Ceremony for Research Conference on the 13th... Expecting Voluntary Class Research Culture Formation and Generalization of Excellent Teaching Cases

Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yun-su) held an awards ceremony on the afternoon of the 13th at the strategic meeting room of the annex building to honor the winners of the '2024 Kindergarten Class Innovation Case Study Competition.'

Held from April to October, this competition aimed to discover various class models suitable for the future educational environment, strengthen teachers' instructional capabilities, and improve teaching and learning methods.

Fifteen kindergarten teachers from the Busan area showcased their research skills, with a total of nine winners: two receiving first-class honors, three second-class, and four third-class.

The Busan Office of Education plans to upload the winners' research reports and class videos to the 'Research Competition Network' and the Teaching and Learning Resource Center for practical use in the field.

This competition is expected to greatly contribute to spreading a voluntary research culture among teachers and generalizing excellent teaching cases in the field.

Ha Yun-su, Superintendent of Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, said, “I sincerely thank everyone who participated in the competition to respond to the rapidly changing educational environment. The Office of Education will spare no support to foster a culture of instructional research and enhance professionalism among kindergarten teachers.”
