Hope Bridge Announces Call for Organizations to Conduct Wildfire Prevention and Firefighter Safety Projects in Gangwon

The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (President Song Pil-ho) announced on the 14th that it is recruiting organizations to carry out a public project for wildfire prevention and firefighter safety support in the Gangwon region. The total project budget is 220 million KRW. The executing organizations must promote and complete designated projects, including support for firefighter safety supplies worth at least 200 million KRW. If they wish to carry out additional proposed projects related to wildfire prevention and firefighter safety, it is possible within the total project budget up to a scale of 20 million KRW.


The project target area is limited to Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. The project period is from next month until June 2025, subject to change depending on Hope Bridge circumstances. Eligibility for application includes public interest non-profit organizations in disaster relief, welfare, health, education, environment, etc., that have been established for more than one year and are located in the relevant area. Applications are accepted until the 26th, and detailed information can be found on the Hope Bridge website. Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, said, "We ask for the interest and support of capable organizations in this project that contributes to strengthening the safety net of the Gangwon community, including the prevention of increasingly large-scale wildfires."
