Doosan Enerbility is strengthening its gas turbine service business capabilities with KEPCO KPS.

Doosan Enerbility announced on the 14th that it has signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Strengthening Gas Turbine Technology Cooperation and Business Expansion' with KEPCO KPS, a company specializing in power generation and transmission equipment maintenance. The signing ceremony held at Bundang Doosan Tower in Gyeonggi-do was attended by Kim Do-yoon, Head of Power Safety Business Division at KEPCO KPS, Son Seung-woo, Head of Power Service BG at Doosan Enerbility, and other officials from both companies.
The two companies will collaborate on training gas turbine technical personnel, providing technical support, and cooperating in the fields of planned gas turbine maintenance and parts processing. They will also form a consultative body to expand the Korean-style gas turbine business, establish regular technical exchange meetings, and share improvement cases to enhance cooperation.
Son Seung-woo, Head of Power Service BG, said, "We expect that the gas turbine-related technology developed by Doosan Enerbility during the localization process, combined with KEPCO KPS's maintenance technology and expert personnel, will enable us to provide differentiated services compared to overseas manufacturers. We will do our best to contribute to domestic energy security and power stabilization through continuous technical exchange and cooperation."
