Audin Futures' cosmetics division achieved its highest quarterly performance since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Audin Futures announced on the 13th that its standalone financial statements showed third-quarter sales this year increased by 40.72% year-on-year to 10.6 billion KRW.
Operating profit for the same period was recorded at 200 million KRW. This marks a rapid reduction in losses compared to operating losses of 1.6 billion KRW in Q1 and 1.1 billion KRW in Q2, turning profitable thanks to rising sales.
Notably, the cosmetics division alone surpassed 10 billion KRW in sales for the first time in 21 quarters since the outbreak of COVID-19. The company analyzed, “The core cosmetics business has stabilized and continues to show steady growth.”
They added, “There were one-time expenses due to some increases in advertising costs compared to the previous quarter,” explaining, “These reflect investment costs for strengthening branding in preparation for next year.”
According to Audin Futures, its cosmetics brand Neogen is highly recognized overseas, with 80% of buyers already aware of it during international sales activities. Recently, they appointed Seventeen’s leader S.Coups as a model to rebuild and grow the Neogen brand. A company representative stated, “Thanks to efforts to enhance brand value, mega influencers both domestically and internationally are currently discussing collaborations with us.”
Neogen is currently broadcasting campaign videos featuring Seventeen’s S.Coups at major subway stations with high visits from Gen Z and global travelers such as Gangnam, Jamsil, Hongdae, Hapjeong, as well as at key Seoul landmarks like Samsung-dong’s Parna Media Tower.
Starting this month, they plan to showcase large-scale brand films featuring S.Coups on SNS, YOUTUBE, camera apps, and other platforms where the 20s and 30s Gen Z generation are actively engaged online.
Meanwhile, Audin Futures collaborated with Vietnamese mega influencer Boharin in October. All products prepared for Boharin’s TikTok live broadcast sold out within 20 minutes, and sales are also strong in Eastern European markets such as Russia. Additionally, the company plans to expand sales in Japan by establishing a Japanese subsidiary.
