RaonSecure is partnering with the Korea Taekkyeon Association to issue blockchain-based DID digital certificates.

IT security and authentication platform company RaonSecure (CEO Lee Soon-hyung, Lee Jung-ah) has signed a business agreement with the Korea Taekkyeon Association to issue digital certificates to private athletes using its blockchain digital ID platform, ‘OmniOne Digital ID’.

Through this agreement, RaonSecure will provide OmniOne Digital ID for issuing blockchain-based DID digital certificates that enable identity verification. Taekkyeon practitioners who pass the promotion examination at Taekkyeon training centers nationwide can receive digital certificates from the Korea Taekkyeon Association. These certificates are issued through RaonSecure’s OmniOne Digital ID mobile app.

Holders of the digital certificates will be able to verify their identity qualifications with various institutions using only their smartphones and receive various benefits. With the Taekkyeon Association’s certificate, additional points can be earned on the police officer exam. The two companies plan to expand the use of the digital certificates by enabling submission and verification to institutions for recognition of additional points on exams such as the police officer exam.

RaonSecure and the Korea Taekkyeon Association also plan to cooperate in securing various partnerships so that holders of digital certificates based on OmniOne Digital ID can receive many benefits. Additionally, by converting certificates previously issued on paper and plastic into digital form, they aim to practice ESG management and enhance environmental protection and social value. The Korea Taekkyeon Association is also accelerating the globalization of Taekkyeon and plans to expand digital certificate issuance to domestic and international users through OmniOne Digital ID.

‘OmniOne Digital ID’ is a blockchain-based integrated platform for identity and qualification authentication that is difficult to forge or tamper with. Provided as Software as a Service (SaaS), universities, public institutions, companies, and various organizations regardless of size can issue various digital certificates without building their own systems. Its applications are limitless, including certificates, membership cards, student IDs, employee IDs, graduation certificates, and employment certificates.

RaonSecure plans to continue expanding partnerships for OmniOne Digital ID and promote the issuance of various blockchain digital credentials. Previously, RaonSecure collaborated with KISSES and Future&More to launch the OmniOne Digital ID-based ISIC international student card, and recently started joint research with the Korean Society of Digital Clinical Medicine and MetaInet to promote the issuance of blockchain-based DID medical professional IDs.

Park Jong-moon, Head of Service Business Division at RaonSecure, said, “Through cooperation with the Korea Taekkyeon Association, we provide much greater convenience to digital certificate holders from possession to linked benefits, and reduce resources consumed in issuing physical certificates, enabling ESG practices. We will continue to strengthen partnerships to enable any organization to easily provide blockchain digital ID-based credential issuance services through OmniOne Digital ID, fostering more diverse innovations.”
