Samsung SDI Holds 'Win-Win Growth Day' with Partner Companies

Samsung SDI shared the achievements of its win-win growth activities with its partners and reaffirmed its commitment to mutual growth.

Samsung SDI announced that it held the 'Win-Win Growth Day' on the 13th at the DoubleTree by Hilton Seoul Pangyo Hotel. About 200 people, including Samsung SDI CEO Choi Yoon-ho and CEOs of partner companies, attended the event.

CEO Choi Yoon-ho said, "Despite the challenging market environment, thanks to the innovation activities and cooperation of our partners, we were able to complete next-generation technologies including all-solid-state batteries and secure orders from multiple OEMs such as GM and Hyundai Motor Company, thereby expanding the foundation for future growth." He added, "Through unprecedented changes and innovations, let us equip ourselves with the best technology and product competitiveness, turn crises into opportunities, and grow together as a 'Global Top-Tier Company by 2030.'"

As methods to achieve this, he urged 'upgrading development capabilities,' 'securing the highest quality standards,' and 'achieving unparalleled cost competitiveness.' He also actively requested participation in strengthening ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management capabilities to enhance supply chain sustainability, stating, "We will spare no professional and systematic support to ensure smooth ESG management for our partners."

Win-Win Growth Day, which began in 2000, is held annually to share innovation cases and pursue continuous development and mutual prosperity. This year, the event proceeded with the introduction of excellent innovation cases from partner companies, an explanation of the 2025 win-win growth promotion plan, followed by the Best Partner Awards ceremony.

Through sustainable mutual growth activities, Samsung SDI received the highest grade again in 2024 in the Win-Win Growth Index evaluation conducted by the Win-Win Growth Committee, following last year. A Samsung SDI official said, "Under the premise that ESG management is a core corporate strategy and a differentiated competitive advantage, we are continuously strengthening a company-wide sustainable management system."
