Over 1,000 Attendees Including Women Entrepreneurs

Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 14th that the largest women's CEO networking event in Korea, the ‘2024 National Women CEO Management Training,’ was held on the 13th at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2.

The ‘National Women CEO Management Training’ is an event held annually since 1999 to strengthen the management capabilities and expand the network of women entrepreneurs nationwide.
This year’s event was hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, organized by the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association, and supported by Gyeonggi Province and Goyang City. It was held at KINTEX in Goyang City under the slogan, “3.26 million women-owned businesses, beyond growth to the world!”
The event was attended by about 1,000 people, including Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, Deputy Minister Kim Sung-seop of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, National Assembly members Na Kyung-won and Kim Sung-hoe, Gyeonggi Deputy Governor Go Young-in, Goyang Special City Mayor Lee Dong-hwan, and members of the National Women CEO Association, adding prestige to the occasion.
The event began with a vision proclamation ceremony, followed by special lectures and sessions presenting excellent management cases by region. In addition, corporate promotion booths and consultation booths addressing management difficulties were operated to strengthen networking among companies.
Mayor Lee Dong-hwan of Goyang Special City stated, “In October, Goyang was designated as the first Venture Business Promotion Zone in northern Gyeonggi Province. Building on this designation, we will support the startup and growth of women-led venture companies and accelerate the designation of an economic free zone to realize a self-sufficient city.”
