Promotion of Cultural Exchange and Global Marketing Linkage for Yeoncheon County's Agricultural Specialties
The Yeoncheon County Council in Gyeonggi Province (Chairperson Kim Mi-kyung) visited the Embassy of Qatar in Korea on the 13th to promote cultural exchange and global linked marketing of Yeoncheon County's agricultural specialties.

This visit was arranged to introduce Yeoncheon County's excellent agricultural products to the Qatari market and to explore the possibility of continuous export cooperation in the future. The Yeoncheon County Council delegation and officials from the Embassy of Qatar exchanged opinions to enhance mutual understanding and discussed various ways for Yeoncheon's specialties to gain attention in the Qatari market.
The Yeoncheon County Council expects this visit to serve as an opportunity to contribute to increasing farmers' income and revitalizing the local economy, and plans to continuously support Yeoncheon's agricultural specialties to maintain competitiveness in the global market.
Kim Mi-kyung, Chairperson of the Yeoncheon County Council, stated, "I am pleased to have expanded the cultural exchange platform between the two countries through the visit to the Embassy of Qatar and to have created an opportunity for Yeoncheon County's excellent agricultural specialties to enter overseas markets." She added, "We will continue to carry out various activities to broaden the export routes for Yeoncheon's agricultural products."
The Yeoncheon County Council plans to strengthen multifaceted exchanges in the future and strive to find ways for Yeoncheon County's agricultural specialties to enter wider global markets.
