Seoul's autonomous districts will implement traffic measures from the early morning of the 14th to support the CSAT exam, for which high school seniors have been preparing with sweat and effort for three years.

60 transport vehicles deployed to facilitate movement of 7,980 examinees across 15 test sites



Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) announced that it has established special measures to support the smooth administration of the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test held on the 14th.


This year’s CSAT will be taken by 7,980 examinees at 15 test sites within the district, an increase of 230 (2.9%) compared to last year.


The district will operate a traffic control center from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on exam day to ensure smooth commuting for examinees.


Especially, from 6 a.m. to 8:10 a.m., the peak commuting time, city buses and village buses will be dispatched intensively. Buses passing by test sites will display signs indicating 'CSAT Test Site Route' and will provide onboard announcements for examinees' convenience.


Additionally, taxi services from subway stations and bus stops to test sites will be expanded.


For examinee transportation, a total of 60 vehicles will be deployed, including 6 district office vehicles, 20 vehicles from community service centers, totaling 26 official vehicles, and 34 private vehicles from volunteer crime prevention teams and professional organizations.


On exam day, all employees’ work start time will be adjusted to 10 a.m. to minimize congestion caused by commuting vehicles, and illegal parking around test sites will be strictly monitored.


Particularly, from 1:10 p.m. to 1:35 p.m., during the listening test, noise from road or construction work near test sites will be closely managed to prevent any inconvenience.



Jin Gyo-hoon, Mayor of Gangseo-gu, said, "Since this is an important exam marking the culmination of a year’s effort for examinees, we will do our utmost to ensure that all examinees can take the test without any inconvenience."

Mapo-gu operates traffic control center from 6 a.m. on the 14th to support examinees

On-site emergency staff and parking attendants deployed at each test site to manage traffic


Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Kang-soo) is implementing special traffic measures to facilitate transportation and ensure safe transport in emergencies for examinees taking the 2025 CSAT on the 14th.


The 2025 CSAT starts at 8:40 a.m., and examinees must be seated by 8:10 a.m.


Accordingly, Mapo-gu will operate a traffic control center from 6 a.m. on exam day to oversee emergency transport, parking order, and noise control to support examinees.


Two emergency staff members will be assigned at each test site to guide examinees and monitor real-time traffic conditions for immediate response in emergencies.


Two parking enforcement officers will be stationed around each test site to educate and crack down on illegal parking that causes traffic congestion. Additionally, Mapo-gu will inspect street vendors obstructing traffic near test sites.


To ensure smooth commuting, village bus operators in the district have been requested to concentrate vehicle dispatch during commuting hours and provide announcements about test sites. Safe driving practices such as low speed, no honking, and avoiding sudden starts or stops are also recommended near test sites.


Emergency transport support will be provided by 16 community service centers for examinees expected to be late. Vehicles marked with examinee transport support signs will wait near subway stations and bus stops close to test sites to safely transport examinees.


Furthermore, not only Mapo-gu but also affiliated organizations such as Mapo-gu Facilities Management Corporation and Mapo Cultural Foundation will adjust their work start times to 10 a.m. to disperse traffic volume and alleviate congestion around test sites.


Mapo-gu plans to control traffic noise and living noise such as construction near test sites for 40 minutes starting at 1 p.m., when the third period English listening test begins, to create an optimal exam environment.


Mayor Park Kang-soo said, “We will do our best to prevent any incidents where examinees, who have prepared diligently for years for their dreams, fail to enter the test sites on time due to traffic issues,” and added, “We ask general drivers for their active cooperation to ensure convenience and safe traffic conditions for examinees on exam day.”


Mapo-gu will also hold a ‘2025 Regular Admission Strategy Briefing’ on December 7, inviting EBS’s leading admissions lecturer Yoon Yoon-gu to support examinees and parents contemplating post-CSAT admission strategies.

Dobong-gu operates Traffic Support Headquarters from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on the 14th, preparing for emergencies

Measures include expanded village bus service and deployment of 40 emergency transport vehicles


Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) is implementing special traffic measures in preparation for the 2024 CSAT on the 14th.


The district plans to concentrate administrative efforts on exam day to ensure examinees can take the test in optimal condition.


Dobong-gu will operate a Traffic Support Headquarters from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on exam day, overseeing parking order around test sites, emergency transport vehicles, and preparing for emergencies.


For examinees using public transportation, the frequency of village buses passing test sites will be increased and dispatch intervals shortened.


To facilitate fast and safe movement, 40 emergency transport vehicles including official vehicles, corporate taxis, and model driver taxis will be deployed at major intersections and subway stations by region to provide emergency transport support.


Strict measures will be taken against any obstruction to examinees’ passage. On exam day, six special enforcement teams will focus on cracking down on illegal parking within a 2 km radius of test sites, including main and branch roads, schools, and subway station areas.


From 1:10 p.m., when the English listening test begins, mobile teams will actively control living noise around test sites. Prior to this, noise levels will be surveyed and construction sites nearby will be inspected and guided to prevent noise.


Mayor Oh Eon-seok said, “On November 14, we will do our best to implement related measures so that examinees can take the test comfortably.”

Guro-gu: 3,200 examinees at 8 test sites, 118 more than last year

85 village buses on 15 routes dispatched intensively, illegal parking around test sites monitored



Guro-gu has prepared and is implementing traffic measures to facilitate convenience for examinees and parents on the 14th, the day of the 2025 CSAT.


A total of 3,200 examinees will take the test at eight sites: Gyeongin High School, Gocheok High School, Guro High School, Guil High School, Guhyeon High School, Sindorim High School, Oryu High School, and Wooshin High School.


First, from 6 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. on CSAT day, 85 village buses on 15 routes will be dispatched intensively to accommodate the concentrated movement of examinees.


Buses passing test sites will display signs on the front and make announcements at nearby stops.


Using district vehicles, two routes will be operated repeatedly from 7 a.m.: Onsu Station (north side) - Wooshin High School - Oryu High School, and Gaebong Station (north side) - Gyeongin High School - Gocheok High School. Community service centers will also support transport with administrative vehicles.


To minimize traffic congestion around test sites, illegal parking violations within a 2 km radius of schools and subway stations near test sites will be strictly enforced.


From 1:10 p.m. to 1:35 p.m., during the third period English listening test, excavation work on roads near test sites will be fully suspended and closed, and construction vehicle traffic will be requested to be minimized.


Meanwhile, for examinees with disabilities, priority dispatch of disabled call taxis will be provided. Examinees wishing to use this service can apply by phone until exam day.

Jung-gu: 2,240 examinees at 6 schools, special traffic measures on the morning of the 14th

14 vehicles deployed at six locations including Sindang Station, Chungjeongno Station, and Seodaemun Station to support transport



Jung-gu, Seoul (Mayor Kim Gil-seong) is implementing special traffic measures on the 14th, the day of the 2025 CSAT, to facilitate transportation and ensure safe transport for examinees.


This year’s CSAT will be taken by 2,240 examinees at six test sites: Ewha Girls’ High School, Ewha Foreign Language High School, Hwanil High School, Seongdong High School, Seongdong Global Business High School, and Seongdong Technical High School.


The district has set up and is operating a special traffic control center, deploying 14 transport vehicles and about 60 personnel including district and community service center officials and volunteers from the Jungbu Volunteer Crime Prevention Association.


In cooperation with related agencies such as Namdaemun and Jungbu Police Stations, traffic around the six test sites will be managed and order maintained. To provide transportation convenience to examinees, emergency transport and guidance will be provided at six locations: City Hall Station (Exit 10), Seodaemun Station (Exit 6), Chungjeongno Station (Exit 6), and Sindang Station (Exits 3, 9, 11).


District officials will be assigned at each test site to guide examinees and manage traffic. Illegal parking around test sites will be strictly monitored to prevent disruption of traffic flow. Special attention will also be requested regarding noise from construction sites near test sites.


The district’s Transportation Administration Department asks that on exam day, drivers use public transportation instead of private cars and refrain from stopping near test sites to show consideration for examinees.


A district official said, “We will do our best at the district level to ensure that all examinees can take the test in the best possible condition.”
