SK Telecom announced on the 13th that it will additionally acquire 99,543,344 shares of its internet subsidiary SK Broadband for approximately 1.1459 trillion KRW.
After the stock acquisition, SK Telecom's stake in SK Broadband will be 99.1%. The scheduled date for the stock acquisition is May 14 of next year.
SK Telecom stated that the purpose of this stock acquisition is to "enhance management efficiency and strengthen control."
