Hwaseong-si Hosts 'Resident Autonomy Festival Art Exhibition'

Enjoy Over 100 Artworks in the City Hall Lobby Until the 22nd

Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi-do will hold the "2024 Resident Autonomy Center Program Exhibition" in the city hall lobby until the 22nd to strengthen the autonomy capabilities of local residents and revitalize the Resident Autonomy Center programs.

Among the 29 resident autonomy committees in Hwaseong's eup, myeon, and dong areas, 23 participated in this exhibition, where visitors can appreciate over 100 works expressing what residents have learned through autonomy programs with artistic sensibility.

At the tape-cutting ceremony held on the 13th, about 60 people attended, including Son Imseong, Vice Mayor of Hwaseong City, Bae Jeongsu, Chairperson of Hwaseong City Council, Kim Jikyoo, Chairperson of Hwaseong Resident Autonomy Council, and other executives of the Resident Autonomy Council.

Vice Mayor Son said, "This exhibition will be an opportunity to recognize the talents and passion of local residents and to strengthen the bonds and communication within the local community."
