Conducted Volunteer Activities for Cemetery Cleanup
The Busan Medical Technicians Association Federation (President Lee Tae-sik) paid tribute at the UN Memorial Cemetery and carried out graveyard cleanup activities on the 9th in observance of UN Veterans Memorial Day.
On this day, members of the medical technicians association and volunteers participated together, offering a moment of silence in front of the statue of UN veterans at the UN Memorial Cemetery to honor their spirit of sacrifice.
Members of the Busan Medical Technicians Association Federation (President Lee Tae-sik) are paying their respects at the United Nations Memorial Cemetery on the 9th in observance of United Nations Veterans Remembrance Day.
President Lee Tae-sik stated, "Today's peace was achieved through countless sacrifices," and added, "The medical technicians association will continue to honor the noble spirit of the veterans and carry on volunteer activities together with the local community."
After the tribute, members collected trash around the graves and conducted environmental beautification work in the Peace Park area.
Members who participated in the volunteer work expressed, "We are glad to be able to contribute even a little as members of the local community," and collectively said, "We will continue activities that fulfill various social responsibilities."
The Busan Medical Technicians Association Federation has decided to carry out volunteer activities that fulfill social responsibilities in addition to this volunteer work.
