Vinatech announced on the 13th that it will participate in Electronica 2024 (hereinafter referred to as 'Electronica'), the world's largest electronic components exhibition held in Munich, Germany, from the 12th to the 14th. At this exhibition, Vinatech plans to expand its supercapacitor value chain through meetings with various global clients.
At this Electronica, Vinatech will showcase not only medium-sized supercapacitors for automotive electronics and smart meters but also large and hybrid supercapacitor products applicable to various fields such as defense industry, ESS, and data centers. As the usage areas and market size of supercapacitors continue to expand, Vinatech is extending its business scope from existing medium-sized products to large and hybrid products.
At previous Electronica events, Vinatech discovered potential customers across various sectors, leading to sales through factory inspections and sample tests. At this event, the company plans to hold meetings with companies in defense industry, mobility, healthcare, emergency power, and smart meters to identify potential customers.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary, Electronica is the world's largest electronic components exhibition held biennially in Munich, Germany. This year, under the theme 'All Electric Society,' more than 3,000 global electronic component companies are participating.
Seong Do-kyung, CEO of Vinatech, stated, “In line with the rapidly growing supercapacitor market, the company has been developing large and hybrid supercapacitors beyond the medium-sized supercapacitors that account for most of the company's existing sales. While strengthening our market position in the medium-sized supercapacitor sector, we will rapidly expand new businesses with high growth momentum.”
Meanwhile, Vinatech recently completed its second factory building on a 17,000-pyeong site located in Wanju City, Jeollabuk-do. The second factory is a multi-product small-quantity production facility that will respond to various supercapacitor projects Vinatech is undertaking, such as ESS, trams, and defense industry logistics, thereby expanding its business scope.
